At Home With Dad

You gotta love kids. This past week, Nicole declared that she saw a worm in her potties this weekend. We searched around but didn’t see any other worm friends in the region. We’re keeping a watch out for other worms and crossing our fingers that we don’t have to deal with anything regarding worm. I do wonder if she didn’t have a worm in her pants to be honest. Who knows?

Shortly after the discussion regarding worms, Nicole declared that she had a secret. What was this secret? She softly whispered that she had a “cotton ball” deep down in her ear. Apparently, it hurt a little as well. After a little digging around, sure ‘nuf – there was a cotton ball way down in her ear. So with me managing the flashlight, Rachel tweezered out a “cotton ball” from Nicole’s ear.

Nicole is very much into exploration and trying out new things. Does she have worms or simply have “worms in her pants”? Only time will tell. As for her ear, I’m sure this isn’t the first time that something has plunged into the depths of her ear. Just the first time it hurt enough to let someone know about it. Kids… always keep you entertained.
