Lent Update

As we continue on our journey through Lent this year, everyone is doing well with their Lent promises.

Rachel and I are standing strong with not eating out. To be honest, it has been much easier (and cheaper) than I thought. This is definitely something we need to hold on to past Lent.

Nicole is struggling the most with just having bread for dinner, but seems to rebound quickly when she remembers why she is doing it. Faith is doing very well. Anthony has asked about his Wii a couple of times, but when reminded about Lent he quickly says he doesn’t want to play. All three of them do believe that the Lent season is way too long.

Overall, we’re enjoying giving up things in our lives that distract us. Makes life more simple.
